At Trinity Montessori we believe..Maria Montessori created a time honored approach to education and with careful attention to the Montessori approach, children manifest love for learning.
The child's development follows a path of successive stages of independence, and our knowledge of this must guide us in our behavior towards him. Maria Montessori
Children want to understand the world around them and will express natural tendencies that foster learning that are both developmental and individual.
If the idea of the universe is presented to the child in the right way, it will do more for him than just arouse his interest, for it will create in him admiration and wonder, a feeling loftier than any interest and more satisfying. Maria Montessori
Children are a blessing from the Lord and Christian formation of children is most fruitful when it is parent lead and school supported.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:5-7
All life and learning is authored and given by God, so that children and adults alike exercise their place in the Kingdom of God.
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, & increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.. Colossians 1: 10-12

Trinity acknowledges the creedal teachings found in the Nicean and Apostle's Creeds. Religion at Trinity can not be divided from the life of the school. It is core to our school. It is not just a class. Children are offered love and acceptance while being actively engaged in finding their unique place in the Kingdom of God. Each step is accompanied by discussions and questions to relate the child back to their family's church experience.
Trinity is most concerned with the child's personal relationship with Jesus and helping him or her find expressions of that faith in our world. All along the way children are challenged to speak in love, walk in peace, and rejoice in hope.
