Head of School

Melissa Fleck-Aller has been a Lower Elementary Montessori teacher for 15 years. She holds a BA in Political Science and International Studies from the College of Charleston. Melissa earned her Montessori Elementary diploma from the Center for Montessori Teacher Education in New Rochelle, NY. Melissa accompanied her parents to Italy and attended school there and finished her 9-12 class at Taunus Montessori in Oberursel, Germany. She speaks both Italian and German. She and her husband live with their two sons and daughter in James Island.

Office Administrator

Laurinda Simonson is the Office Administrator at Trinity Montessori. She handles much of the day-to-day operations associated with the school outside of the classroom. Laurinda assists teachers, meets and greets prospective families, assists with payroll, processes bills among many other task. Laurinda and her husband, Bill, recently retired from Connecticut to the Charleston area.

Our care of the children should be governed not by the desire to 'make them learn things', but by the endeavor always to keep burning within them the light which is called intelligence.
