Melissa Fleck-Aller has been a Lower Elementary Montessori teacher for 15 years. She holds a BA in Political Science and International Studies from the College of Charleston. Melissa earned her Montessori Elementary diploma from the Center for Montessori Teacher Education in New Rochelle, NY. Melissa accompanied her parents to Italy and attended school there and finished her 9-12 class at Taunus Montessori in Oberursel, Germany. She speaks both Italian and German. Elizabeth Vice is a co-teacher in our Elementary program. She graduated from the College of Charleston and has years of Montessori and adolescent experience. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Mrs. Vice can be reached at elizabethv@trinitymontessori.com
Rosemary Fleck is our Dean of Academics and our Upper Elementary Teacher. Mrs. Fleck taught at Assumption Montessori in Miami and there was introduced to the Montessori methods and was sponsored to study with the great Montessorian, Mother Isabel Eugenie. In 1970 the Fleck family moved to Bergamo, Italy for a year and Mrs. Fleck studied with Camillo Grazzini and Eleanora Honegger. She holds the full 6-12 diploma, and did oral exams with Mario Montessori. Mrs. Fleck taught at Alexander School in Miami for eight years and was Head teacher at Taunus Montessori School in Oberursel, Germany. She then returned to America to teach at Charlestowne Montessori, Greenville Montessori and then went to start the Bergamo Program at Mauldin Montessori. In 1996 she returned to Charlestowne Montessori leaving that school to come to become a founder of Trinity. Mrs. Fleck has given workshops in Florida and seminars in Europe, California, Santa Fe, New York, Mackinac Island, Boston and Charleston. She has been nominated for the Montessori Achievement Award presented annually at the AMS Congress. She was married to artist John K. Fleck for 43 years until his recent death. She has a son, daughter and four very loved grandchildren.
