Applying to Trinity Montessori School
Trinity Montessori is a private Christian, not-for-profit school, serving children from 18 months to 12 years of age, located in the West Ashley area of Charleston, South Carolina.
In accordance with our belief, high-quality Montessori education can make a difference in the life of every child.
Here’s how the process works:
Step 1: Submit Inquiry
Begin by completing our Online Inquiry Form. Admissions will contact you via email to schedule a tour.
Step 2: Tour and Interview
Upon receipt of your inquiry form, a member of our administrative team will confirm that we have received that form, and may offer a guided tour of Trinity’s campus, schedule permitting.
This introductory visit will feature an overview of the Montessori Method, and is intended as a way for us to get to know your family, and your educational aspirations and priorities for your young learner!
Step 3: Apply
You will receive an application in your information packet during your school tour. Alternatively, you may complete the electronic application and email it directly to allee@trinitymontessori.com.
Step 4: Notification and Enrollment
Admissions decisions for the 2026-2027 academic year will be sent via email by March 1, 2026. If offered a spot, you will receive an email containing your electronic enrollment contract and details on submitting the tuition deposit. This deposit is equal to one full monthly payment and will be applied toward the final month of the upcoming school year's tuition.
Waitlist Policy:
Applicants accepted for all reasons other than space availability will be placed on a waitlist. The waitlist is not a traditional "first-come, first-served" system. Instead, placements are based on several factors, including:
Parent employment at Trinity Montessori School
Current siblings enrolled at the school
Previous Montessori experience
Family alumni status
Date of application submission
When a space becomes available, we will contact the first family on the list via phone or email to confirm continued interest. If we do not reach you directly, we will wait five (5) business days before moving on to the next applicant.
Once notified of an opening, you must confirm acceptance within five (5) business days. At that time, the registration fee must be submitted. If confirmation is not received within the five-day window, we will offer the space to the next family on the list.
